Smoking and COPD the Facts

COPD stands for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. COPD is basically group of diseases which cause blockage in proper air flow in the body system. Hence, it results in breathing or respiratory problems. Few health problems that come under COPD are chronic bronchitis, emphysema and asthma. COPD not only results in disabilities but is also of the major reasons for untimely deaths. One of the major reason contributing to COPD is smoking.
