Kids who Smoke -- the Health Risks Involved

In everyday, there are approximately four thousand kids aging from 12 to 17 years already have instigated smoking cigarettes and tobaccos. Statistics shows that in middle school students, one out of ten students do smokes. In high school, the ratio of students who smoke to those who do not is 1:4, which means, one out of four high school students do smokes. These numbers are constantly increasing, nowadays. This is such a very alarming reality that parents should pay attention to.

How do these kids begin to smoke?

Curiosity is the main reason as to why these kids begin smoking. Their curiosity has unfortunately led them to become immature unhealthy beings, who at their very young age, are already hooked up with the smoking habit. Others would start to smoke just to appear to be or act as if they are already adults.

Potential Risks

While there are many kids who engaged into smoking cigarettes and tobaccos, majority of them are not yet fully aware of the potential havocs the habit can cause to their health and wellbeing. They may not be able to perceive the smoking effects initially, but sooner or later, they would surely regret having them.

Some of the most common issues that kids may encounter from smoking cigarettes include frequent coughs and colds, bad breath, stinking clothes and yellow teeth. Other smoking dilemmas they may come across encompass bare pockets and losing of friends especially when playing.
